Colin's Honey Garlic Sauce for Wings

I love experimenting and love wings. I love the hot stuff but my wife loves Honey Garlic wings. So I tried to replicate her favourite wing sauce. She loved it!!!! I also have used this on chicken breasts and thighs and also ribs!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4TBSP soy sauce
  • 2 TBSP corn starch

Directions

  1. Whisk together all ingredients well
  2. In saucepan cook over medium heat stirring constantly(lots of sugar,it will burn!) until boiling
  3. Lower heat and simmer until sauce thickens (1-2) minutes
  4. Pour half over meat and marinade in refrigerator for 1 hour
  5. Set aside remaining sauce and baste periodically during cooking
  6. For wings, 375 for approx 60 - 70 mins
