Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, salt and Ranch dressing mix until well blended. Leave to stand for 5 minutes.
  2. Shape into walnut-size meatballs, and place on a baking sheet. Makes around 23 meatballs.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes in the oven at 190˚C, turning them over half way through
  4. Meanwhile combine ketchup, tomato puree, apple cider vinegar, cola, onion, bell pepper, Vegeta, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Remove meatballs from the baking sheet and place in a suitable pan, cover with the sauce.
  6. Cover the pan and cook for 1 hour on very low heat.
  7. Serve with green salad.
  8. Homemade Ranch-style dressing seasoning mix: mix well all the ingredients.
