Coffee Jelly with Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp NESCAFE CLASSIC
  • Sugar Syrup:
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp brandy (optional) or to taste
  • 1 can 160 g NESTLE Cream

Coffee Jelly with Cream

Time: 5 minutes prep, 15 minutes cook
 
 

Directions

  1. Soften gelatin in 1/4 cup water. Add 1-3/4 cups hot water and 1/4 cup sugar. Cook over medium heat until sugar and gelatin are dissolved.
  2. Stir in NESCAFÉ Classic and pour mixture into 4 or 6 custard cups. Refrigerate to set. Place remaining 1/2 cup sugar in saucepan.
  3. Add an equal amount of water and cook syrup for 2-3 min. Stir in brandy if desired. Let cool.
  4. Top coffee gelatin with a teaspoonful of NESTLÉ Cream. Serve with brandied syrup.
