Christmas Ham with Maple Glaze Recipe

Ingredients

  • And the ham bone can be used to make soup
  • You can baste ham with any favorite glaze or sauce you like
  • 4-5 lb. smoked ham
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 T butter
  • 2 T light corn syrup
  • 2 T apple juice
  • 1/8 t ground allspice
  • Dash of cloves
  • For Sauce~
  • In a small saucepan combine maple syrup, butter, corn syrup, apple juice, allspice and cloves
  • Bring to a boil; remove pan from heat
  • Set aside until needed
  • Ham on Rotisserie~
  • Put ham on rotisserie,
  • Following manufacturers directions
  • Cook ham for 2 1/2 hours
  • Set it and forget it:)
  • Baste ham with glaze during last
  • Hour and a half
  • Remove ham from rotisserie
  • Place in a shallow baking dish
  • Cover tightly with tin foil
