- Salt- ¼ tsp
- Baking powder- ¼ tsp
- Eggs- 8, separated
- Vegetable oil- 1/3 cup
- Vanilla essence-1 tsp
- Seedless raspberry jam- 1 cup
- Chocolate Whipped Cream Frosting (recipe follows)
- 3 squares (1 ounce each) semi sweet chocolate
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup plus 1 ¼ cups heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Confectionersâ sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
