Chili Sauce (Relish)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 peck tomatoes (6 lbs.)
  • 6 lg. onions
  • 4 green peppers
  • 2 warm peppers, or possibly 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. whole allspice in bag

Directions

  1. Scald and peel tomatoes and put in colander to drain. Cut in small pcs the onions and peppers. Combine all ingredients and boil at a low boiling point for 1/2 hour. Stir constantly. Put in sterile jars and seal.

    Nice recipe, but I didn't like so much tomatoes
