Ingredients

  • 1 lb Grated Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 c. Crab meat
  • 8 ounce Diced green chilies, canned
  • 1/3 c. Half-and-half
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 2 c. Flour
  • 1 c. Marinara Sauce or possibly tomato sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a deep 12- to 2-qt baking dish. Set aside 2 c. of the cheese for the top. Place 1/3 of the cheese on the bottom of the baking dish. Add in 1/3 of the crab and 1/3 of the chilies.
  2. Repeat, making 3 layers of each. Whisk the half-and-half with the Large eggs and flour, and slowly pour into the baking dish. Top with the marinara sauce and sprinkle with the reserved cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour, or possibly till warm and set in center.
  3. Yield: 4 servings
