Chicken Satay with Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cup cooked rice
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 cup peanut sauce
  • 1 tsp hot sauce or to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Chicken Satay with Dipping Sauce

 
 

Directions

  1. Skewer strips of chicken on bamboo or metal skewers.
  2. Season with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large skillet or griddle pan over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken skewers and cook 5 to 7 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through, turning frequently.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine peanut sauce, hoisin sauce and hot sauce.
  5. Set pan over medium-high heat and bring to a simmer.
  6. Simmer 5 to 7 minutes, until sauce reduces slightly.
