  1. Cut the chicken into small pcs. Heat the oil and fry the finely minced onions, garlic and ginger. When they begin to turn color, add in the spices and cook for a few min longer. Now add in the tomatoes and salt to taste and cook for a further 5 min. Put in the chicken pcs and stir so which they are thoroughly coated with the sauce. Cover and simmer for about 30 min. At the end of this time the mix should be almost dry, but you need to check from time to time and add in a little water if necessary.
