- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives

Directions
- Heat a heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat. Meanwhile, cut a hole in the center of bread slice, using 1-1/2-inch round cookie cutter or use the top of a drinking glass. Discard removed bread circle or reserve for another use.
- Place the bread in the skillet. Break egg into hole; sprinkle with the pepper. Cook over medium heat 2 minutes; turn bread and egg with spatula.
- Top with cheese; cover. Cook 2 minutes or until egg white is set and yolk is cooked to desired doneness. Sprinkle with chives.
