Cheesy Taco Casserole

This is a really good recipe that my husband loves and he can't stop with one serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1/2 large onion Diced
  • small amount of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
  • 1 t dried celery leaves
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup broken tortilla chips
  • 1 cup sliced velveeta cheese

Directions

  1. PREHEAT skillet...then add oil
  2. Brown onion and Beef.
  3. Add spices, seasonings, add tomato sauce and cream corn. Starting with a layer of broken tortilla chips in an oiled casserole. (Use Pam if you like.)
  4. Add a layer of the Ground beef mixture and then cheese cubes.
  5. Another layer of chips. Repeat ending with ground beef mixture and cheese.
  6. For a crunchy top crumble extra broken chips. This is a very yummy dish that pleases kids especially.
  7. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbling.
