.%20%20Total%20cost%20under%20$5.%20Not%20bad%20for%20a%20great%20meal.%20I%20got%20this%20idea%20%20from%20a%20friend%20years%20ago.%20She%20had%20taken%20it%20to%20a%20casserole%20contest%20at%20church%20and%20won%20first%20prize.%20That%20night%20I%20was%20the%20real%20winner%20when%20she%20presented%20me%20with%20the%20leftovers%20to%20take%20home.%20She%20never%20gave%20me%20the%20recipe,%20but%20I%20liked%20it%20so%20much%20that%20I%20had%20to%20come%20up%20with%20my%20own%20version.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECorn%20Bread%20&%20Chili%20Casserole%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3%20(15%20oz.)%20cans%20Chili%20(use%20your%20favorite%20or%20homemade).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOpen%20cans%20of%20chili%20and%20mix%20in%20onions%20if%20desired.%20%20Pour%20into%20a%20greased%209%20x13%20casserole%20dish.%20Sprinkle%20the%20cheese%20on%20top.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMake%20the%20corn%20bread%20according%20to%20package%20directions%20spoon%20over%20top%20of%20%20the%20chili%20mixture.%20%20Spread%20to%20even%20it%20out.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20at%20400%20degrees%20for%2025-30%20minutes%20or%20until%20the%20corn%20bread%20is%20done.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMake%20sure%20you%20check%20the%20middle%20to%20make%20sure%20it%20is%20done.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20was%20a%20huge%20hit%20at%20my%20house!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E~Tiffanee%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
