This is one of my favorites, easy, quick, and loved by my family.

Ingredients

  • 3 different styles of macaroni . About enough to fill your casserole dish the size of your choosing about 3/4 full after being cooked.
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce ( i used Ragu tradional )
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 1/2 green pepper , red pepper, or yellow pepper diced
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 3 links of Italian sausage
  • 1/2 lb of ground beef
  • pepperoni as desired
  • 1/4 tsp each of Basil, Marjoram,Oregano
  • shredded Mozzerella cheese
  • ( and you can add anything else you want in there )

Directions

  1. cook your macaroni
  2. while cooking, cook the sausage and ground beef til 1/2 cooked then add all your diced vegetables.
  3. Add the 3 spices at this time as well
  4. Cook til all is done
  5. Add diced tomatoes
  6. Add spaghetti sauce and stir all together til hot
  7. Assemble in a dry casserole dish
  8. first all the macaroni
  9. then add your your mixture all over the top, being careful to cover all the macaronis
  10. Sprinkle shredded mozzerella cheese covering the top and slide into a broiler to melt the cheese and til it just starts to brown slightly. Ovens will work but wont brown as well, this is mainly to melt the cheese and for browning for looks.
  11. when cheese is brown, take out of oven and let sit for 2-3 mins before serving.
  12. This is great with french bread, or hot rolls.
