Ingredients

  • Boiled Rice-2 bowl
  • Cashew-nut Powder-3tsp
  • Fried cashew-nuts-10
  • Large onion-1
  • Cardamom-1
  • Cinnamon-1/4stick
  • Cloves-3
  • Aniseeds-1/4tsp
  • Poppy seeds-1/4tsp
  • Crushed ginger-few
  • Shred coconut-1/4cup
  • Green chili-2
  • Curry leaves
  • Coriander leaves
  • Red-chili powder-1/2tsp
  • Coriander powder-1 1/2tsp
  • Turmeric powder-1/2tsp
  • Cumin powder-1/4tsp
  • Gram masala-1/4tsp
  • Salt-to taste
  • Oil/Ghee-3tsp

Directions

  1. Take a kadai, add oil/ghee,cardamom,cinnamon,cloves,aniseeds,ginger,greenchili and poppy seeds.
  2. After poppying the seeds add sliced onion and curry leaves.
  3. Onion comes in slightly brown add shred coconut,salt and fry well.
  4. After coconut comes in a round shape.
  5. Take a plate add all powders,water and mix well (except cashew-nut powder).do not add more water.mixing a correct consistency.
  6. After add mixing powders and fry well.fry 2 or 3mins.
  7. After 3mins remove the pan in heat.Add cashew-nuts powder and mix well.
  8. Add boiled rice,coriander leaves and mix well.
  9. Finally add fried cashew-nuts and decorate some coriander leaves.
