Carrot Raita

Ingredients

  • Plain Yogurt : 2 cups
  • Milk : 1/4 cup
  • Roasted cumin Powder: 1 tsp
  • Salt and Pepper : 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala : 1/4 tsp
  • Carrots: 1/2 cup

Carrot Raita

Time: 5 minutes prep, 2 minutes cook
Servings: 2 cups
 

Directions

  1. Whip the yogurt by adding milk.
  2. Wash and grate carrots and blanch for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain/Squeeze the water out from carrots and mix it in yogurt.
  4. Cool in refrigerator for 30-45mins and serve.
  5. I like to season with ground cummin powder.
