,%20and%20used%202%20granny%20smith%20apples%20and%202%20honeycrisps.%20Had%20to%20use%20those%20honeycrisps%20since%20they're%20in%20season!%20Her%20recipe%20says%20to%20use%201/4-1/2%20cup%20caramel,%20so%20we%20used%201/3%20cup.%20We%20also%20didn't%20really%20measure%20out%20the%20heath%20bits...%20we%20just%20used%20as%20much%20as%20it%20took%20to%20completely%20cover%20the%20dip.%20I'll%20leave%20Tina's%20measurement%20of%201/2%20cup%20heath%20bits%20since%20we%20just%20winged%20it.%20Oh%20yeah,%20and%20I%20added%20in%20the%20word%20%22marshmallow%22%20to%20the%20title,%20because%20in%20the%20future%20I%20hope%20to%20make%20a%20similar%20caramel%20apple%20recipe%20that%20doesn't%20include%20marshmallow,%20so%20I'll%20probably%20call%20that%20just%20Caramel%20Apple%20Dip,%20so%20I'll%20need%20to%20be%20able%20to%20differentiate%20the%20two.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'm%20always%20thinking%20ahead%20like%20that.%20Ok%20not%20always%20but%20usually.%20Ok%20not%20usually%20but%20sometimes.%20Ok%20ok%20hardly%20ever.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECaramel%20Apple%20Marshmallow%20Dip%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eever%20so%20slightly%20adapted%20from%20Mommy's%20Kitchen%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBlend%20cream%20cheese%20and%20marshmallow%20cream%20in%20a%20medium%20mixing%20bowl%20until%20creamy.%20Add%201/3%20cup%20caramel,%20dark%20brown%20sugar,%20and%20vanilla%20and%20blend%20until%20smooth.%20Transfer%20to%20a%20decorative%20bowl,%20or%20the%20center%20of%20a%20platter.%20Drizzle%20more%20caramel%20topping%20on%20top%20and%20sprinkle%20generously%20with%20toffee%20bits.%20If%20using%20bowl,%20place%20it%20in%20the%20center%20of%20a%20platter%20and%20surround%20with%20the%20sliced%20apples.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20couldn't%20stop%20eating%20this!%20It's%20a%20sweet%20dip,%20so%20it%20was%20kinda%20like%20our%20dessert%20before%20dinner.%20I'm%20so%20glad%20I've%20got%20some%20leftover%20for%20a%20snack%20tomorrow%20at%20work,%20too!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDon't%20worry,%20PJ%20already%20knows%20about%20my%20love%20affair%20with%20caramel%20%20:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBe%20sure%20to%20check%20out%20the%20Improv%20Cooking%20Challenge%20blog%20hop%20below!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20check%20out%20some%20tasty%20treats%20at%20The%2012%20Weeks%20of%20Christmas%20Cookies%20and%20Sweets%20blog%20hop%20below,%20too!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPeace,%20and%20bacon%20grease!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
