Cappuccino Bavarian Cream
Servings: 1
Directions
- Its from Eating Well Magazine.
- In a small heatproof c. stir together the coffee granules, coffee liqueur, and 1 Tbs. of hot water till dissolved. Add in the gelatin, stir and let soften for one minute.
- In a blender, combine cream cheese, dry lowfat milk, sugar, and 1/2 C. of ice water. Blend on low speed till smooth. Set the c. of coffee mix in a small skillet of simmering water and stir till gelatin dissolves. Add in to the cream cheese mix and mix briefly. Add in 4 ice cubes and blend on high speed till smooth. If at this point the mix has not thickened, add in the additional ice cub and blend. Pour the cream into a serving bowl and and chill for at least 15 min. If you like, cinnamon can be sprinkled over each portion.
- I have not made this but a healthy dollop of this in a serving of rice pudding sounds wonderful. And I would want the cinnamon too. Let me know if you decide to try it. Merry Christmas to all. - Tony
