Ok, I was in Sicily for 2 weeks and had these every morning with coffee, I had to make them once I got home. They are lots of work, but so yummy, You can buy the shells in any market or make them

Directions

  1. For Shells
  2. Place flour into large bowl use pastry cutter to blend in flour add white sugar, cinnamon, when everything is blended and pea sized add egg and wine. Place in refrigerator to 20 minutes and make filling. After 20 minutes get dough roll out on floured surface and get a round 4 inch cookie cutter and cut out circles.
  3. Wrap these around a cannoli tube or a metal tube and fry in vegetable oils until golden.
  4. Allow to cool before taking them off
  5. Filling
  6. Drain ricotta, then blend in cheese, powdered sugar and orange zest
  7. With a pastry bag, fill each cooled shell, sprinkle on chocolate chips and dust with powdered sugar
