Cabbage Stir Fried with Kadalai Paruppu/Chana Dal And Cumin Seeds

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cabbage (about 400g) - sliced/shredded
  • 2 tbsp kadalai paruppu/chana dal (rinsed and drained)
  • 1 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 onion - sliced
  • 1 green chili - sliced to medium size pieces
  • 1 tsp turmeric/kunyit powder
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

Cabbage Stir Fried with Kadalai Paruppu/Chana Dal And Cumin Seeds

Time: 25 minutes prep, 10 minutes cook
Servings: 3 person
 

Directions

  1. Heat oil and saute onion and chili.
  2. Add cumin seeds and dhal.
  3. Stir until they splatter.
  4. Put the rest in (cabbage, turmeric and salt)
  5. Stir to soften cabbage.
  6. Remove from heat.
