Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour (3 to 3 1/2)
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp. yeast Mix 1 c. flour with remaining dry ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.
  • 3/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. butter Combine and heat till butter melts. Cold. Stir in
  • 1 x egg beaten

Directions

  1. Beat mix into dry ingredients. Add in remaining flour, knead till smooth. Let rise till doubled. Roll dough into a circle, cut into 12 triangles. Roll each triangle up starting with the wide end. Let rise, brush with melted butter, bake at 375F for about 20 min. (For smaller rolls, make two circles with 12 triangles each, bake 10 - 15 min.)
