Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. buckwheat flour
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 6 x Large eggs
- 3 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. butter melted and cooled Sliced fresh strawberries for accompaniment Maple syrup

Buckwheat Waffles
Servings: 6
Directions
- Heat waffle iron.
- Combine all dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
- In large mixing bowl, beat Large eggs till fluffy. Add in buttermilk and butter, mixing well. Stir in dry ingredients till just blended.
- Pour batter from c. or possibly pitcher onto center of warm waffle iron. Bake about 5 min or possibly till steaming stops. Remove waffle carefully.
- Serve with sliced fresh strawberries and maple syrup as desired.
- This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
