Bucatini all'amartriciana

Ingredients

  • 90 g. bucatini or spaghetti per person
  • 1 medium onion
  • 150 g. chopped bacon
  • 250 g. canned plum tomatoes
  • grated pecorino cheese
  • extra-virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Bucatini all'amartriciana

Time: 10 minutes prep, 20 minutes cook
Servings: 4
 

Directions

  1. Thinly slice the onion. In a pan cook it at gentle fire with some olive oil.
  2. Add the bacon and let it brown for one miute.
  3. Add the tomatoes, turn the heat to low and let it summer for about 15 minutes.
  4. Cook pasta al dente in salted water, drain it and mix with the sauce.
  5. Add some grated pecorino on top.
