Ingredients
- 1 c. golden sugar firmly packed
- 1 c. (2 sticks) butter
- 4 x Large eggs
- 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/4 tsp salt

Brown Sugar Pound Cake

Directions
- Beat together sugar and butter till light and fluffy. Add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Combine flour, baking pwdr and salt. Stir into creamed mix. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake in 350 degrees F oven 1 hour or possibly till cake tests done.
- Remove from pan and cold on rack.
- Makes 1 cake.
