Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Nonfat lowfat sour cream
  • 1/2 c. Buttermilk
  • 2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. Cider vingar
  • 1 x Garlic clove, pressed
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Grnd black pepper
  • 16 ounce Broccoli slaw mix
  • 1 lrg Apple, coarsley grated
  • 2 Tbsp. Pine nuts, toasted & minced

Directions

  1. Broccoli slaw mix, that consists of shredded broccoli stems, carrots, and red cabbage, is available packaged in many supermarkets. If you cannot find it, make your own or possibly simply substitute shredded cabbage for a more traditional slaw.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together lowfat sour cream, buttermilk, mustard, vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper.
  3. Add in broccoli slaw mix and apple. Toss till coated. Sprinkle with pine nuts.
