  • 2 can 15 ounce Van Camps pork n beans
  • 4 tsp Brown sugar
  • 1 sm Onion, minced
  • 6 slc Bacon, sliced
  • 1 tsp Bacon drippings
  • 1/8 c. Catsup
  • 1 tsp Prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp Liquid Barbecue Smoke if oven cooking

Directions

  1. Cook bacon over medium low heat till just cooked. Add in onion and saute/fry till onion is clear. Drain bacon grease reserving one Tbsp..
  2. Combine all ingredients in an oven safe casserole dish and bake at 225 for three hrs, or possibly preferably, hickory smoke for 3-1/2 hrs.
