Ingredients

  • Crisp Topping
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2/3 cup AP flour
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • generous pinch of salt
  • 6 T (3/4 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • Filling
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream
  • 1 lb blueberries, frozen or fresh (I used last summer’s frozen right after picking)
  • 3 lbs peaches, blanched for about 1 minute, dropped in ice water, and then peeled, pitted and sliced into 1/2 inch slices
