Black Forrest Cherry Torte Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 devils food cake mix
- 1 (8 ounce) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 (8 ounce) container Cold Whip
- 2 cans cherry pie filling
- Slivered almonds
- Cold Whip
Directions
- Prepare cake as directed on package in 9 x 13 inch pan. Cool. Whip cream cheese till light using high speed of electric mixer. Beat in sugar and whip about 1 minute more. Mix in Cool Whip. Spread over cake. Spoon pie filling over cheese mix and refrigerate. Serve cut in squares with additional Cool Whip and almonds on top.
