Betty Crocker Garbanzo Bean Sugar Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

  • one packet = Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix (17.5oz)
  • one can = garbanzo beans (15oz) (also called chick peas)
  • 1/4 cup = canola oil
  • one med = egg (opt)
  • 1 tsp = cream of tarter
  • 1/4 cup = brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp = baking soda

Directions

  1. 1.) drain & rinse = garbanzo beans
  2. small bowl or measuring cup = use hand blender or blender
  3. blend till creamy =
  4. add egg = oil = to creamed beans and mix well
  5. 2.) big bowl = cookie mix = baking soda = cream of tarter =
  6. brown sugar;
  7. 3.) now add creamed bean mixture to the big bowl of dry cookie mixture. mix until all wet.
  8. 4.) take a reg. spoon and dip cookie dough on baking sheet
  9. and press down to form a round shape
  10. *note some chill dough first, by wrapping it in plastic wrap in a roll. so they can slice 1/4 in cookies and they are all the same
  11. preheat oven 375' = bake 6 to 8 minutes (some like it 9 to 10 minutes)
