Best Caramel Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. cool water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 3 beaten large eggs
  • 6 1/2 to 7 c. flour

Best Caramel Rolls

Directions

  1. Scald lowfat milk and butter. Add in cold water, sugar and salt. Add in yeast and large eggs to liquids. Slowly add in flour to liquids. Mix well, then the rest of four can be kneaded to dough with hands. Knead well. Cover dough with cloth. Let rise in warm place. Oven can be set on warm, then turned off to raise dough. Punch down. Cover again with cloth and let rest for a short time. Get two 9 x 13 inch cake pans ready. Butter pans. Sprinkle with brown sugar, butter chunks, and minced walnuts. Cut dough into 2 pcs. Roll dough into rectangle. Whip dough with butter. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Roll up. Cut into rolls. Place on sugar and cinnamon mix. Raise again. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 min.
