Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lbs. stew beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pkg. brown gravy mix
- 8 ounce. whole mushrooms
- 4 stalks celery
- 4 med. carrots
- 4 med. potatoes
- 1 1/2 c. water

Beef Mushroom Stew
Servings: 6
Directions
- Cut beef into 1 inch cubes. Put beef and salt in 3 qt pot. Stir together gravy mix and water. Pour over meat and cook slowly for 40 min or possibly till desired doneness. Add in vegetables and cook till tender. Let stand 10 min before serving. 6 to 8 servings. Serve with cornbread or possibly crackers.
