Burnt ends are the blackened parts of a brisket that has been smoked. Some people like to cut the ends off, pour on bbq sauce, and cook them another two hours or so, then make sandwiches. I do that, but also add them to beans.

Make these with drained pork and beans.

Not many people like beans but I do. Not to have it daily but every now and then I crave for it.

Sounds great, Myra. Do you have a preference for the kind of beans used in this recipe?

        Hey Don!

I wrote pork and beans in the description, but not the recipes. Made the addition.

        Thanks,

        Myra

Great, thanks for the clarification, Myra! I am such a sucker for baked beans- at a good BBQ I'll eat more beans and potato salad than brisket, yes all the more pity for my wife... This recipe looks mighty fine!
