Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Saute/fry onion and garlic in shortening till tender. Add in chilies. Combine beans, rice and cottage cheese. Mix in onion, peppers, salt, pepper and chili pwdr.
  2. Spoon into lightly greased 2 qt casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 min. Top with cheese.
