Ingredients

  • 3 CUPS FRESH GARDEN BASIL LEAVES, CUT UP, SLICED OR CHOPPED
  • 1 1/2 CUPS ORGANIC WALNUTS, GROUND
  • 4 CLOVES ORGANIC GARLIC, PRESSED
  • 1/2 CUP SHREDDED ORGANIC PARMESAN CHEESE
  • 3/4 CUP ORGANIC OLIVE OIL
  • 1/2 TEASPOON KOSHER SALT
  • 1 PINCH GROUND BLACK PEPPER TO TASTE

Directions

  1. BLEND THE BASIL, WALNUTS, GARLIC, OLIVE OIL, SALT AND PEPPER TOGETHER IN NINJA FOOD PROCESSOR UNTIL THE MIXTURE BECOMES A SLIGHTLY CHUNKY PASTE.
  2. TO PRESERVE FOR FUTURE USE, PUT IN STAINLESS STEEL ICE CUBE TRAY.
  3. FROZEN CUBES CAN BE EASILY REMOVED AND KEPT IN FREEZER BAGS & ADDED TO SAUTE PAN WITH PRESSED GARLIC & CHOPPED ONIONS.
