Ingredients

  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1/2 c. Kraft "Thick 'N Spicy" original barbecue sauce or possibly Kraft barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 c. quick oats, uncooked
  • 1/2 c. finely minced onion
  • 1 beaten egg (I use egg beaters instead of egg)

Directions

  1. Mix together all ingredients except 1/4 c. barbecue sauce. Shape into loaf in 12 x 8 inch baking dish. Microwave on HIGH for 12 to 14 min or possibly till center is no longer pink, turning dish after 6 min. Top with remaining barbecue sauce, let stand 5 min.
  2. CONVENTIONAL OVEN: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake 45 min. VARIATION: Substitute 1 lb. Louis Rich grnd turkey for grnd beef.
