Bananas Orange Flambé

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 orange, freshly juiced
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 2 ripe bananas, peeled, slice crosswise
  • Ice cream for serving

Bananas Orange Flambé

Time: 1 minutes prep, 7 minutes cook
Servings: 2 Person
 

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, stir in sugar until sugar is melted and brown. Add bananas and orange juice, mixing everything until it is well mixed.
  2. Add brandy, tilt skillet toward the flame if you have gas stove or bring a torch close up to skillet to light the brandy. Turn off the heat when all the brandy is burned off. Serve with your choice of flavor ice cream.
