  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Grease 9 x 5 loaf pan
  3. combine sour cream and baking soda in a small bowl
  4. using an electric mixer, cream butter and sugar in large bowl
  5. beat in eggs, bananas, and sour cream mixture.
  6. sift in flour and baking powder.
  7. Spoon mixture into pan Bake about 1 hour.
  8. Cool 10 minutes in pan
  9. turn loaf out onto cooling rack.
