Bacon Salad

Ingredients

  • Salad Ingredients:
  • About 6-7 slices of bacon
  • 1 head of romaine lettuce – torn
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Cucumber
  • Radishes
  • Red Onion – sliced thin
  • Baby Carrots – sliced thin
  • Dressing:
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ tablespoons of vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of bacon drippings

Directions

  1. Salad:
  2. Combine all of the ingredients for the salad and mix well.
  3. Dressing:
  4. Heat bacon drippings in frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic, then mayonnaise and vinegar; whisk until blended, 30-40 seconds.
  5. Pour over salad and sprinkle bacon over. Serve immediately.
