Bacon Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans, chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sugar

Bacon Green Beans

Time: 15 minutes prep, 10 minutes cook
Servings: 4
 

Directions

  1. Place green beans in skillet with enough water to just cover beans.
  2. Bring water to a simmer.
  3. Cover and cook for 6 minutes.
  4. Drain and set aside.
  5. Place bacon in same skillet on medium high heat.
  6. Cook bacon thoroughly.
  7. Add cooked green beans and stir.
  8. Cook until beans are tender.
  9. Add vinegar and sugar.
  10. Cook for 2 minutes.
