Ingredients

  • 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 2/3 c. Sugar
  • 1 pkt (3 ounces) lemon-flavored gelatin
  • 1 pkt (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. Diced unpeeled apples
  • 1/2 x To 1 c. minced nuts
  • 1 c. Minced celery
  • 1 c. Whipped topping Lettuce leaves

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, combine pineapple and sugar; bring to a boil and boil for 3 min. Add in gelatin; stir till dissolved. Add in cream cheese; stir till mix is thoroughly combined. Cold. Mix in apples, nuts, celery and whipped topping. Pour into a 9-in. square baking pan. Refrigeratetill hard. Cut into squares and serve on lettuce leaves.
  2. Yield: 9-12 servings.
