Asian Chicken Burgers Recipe

Love burgers and Asian food? Then this recipe is the best of both worlds! The tasty chicken burgers can be on and off the grill in just 25 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cups Coleslaw Mix
- 4 Ozs Sliced Water-Chestnuts, Sliced into Slivers
- 3 Tbsp. Sesame Ginger Vinaigrette Dressing
- 1 Lb. Ground Chicken or Turkey
- 1/2 Cup Plain Bread Crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 2 Tsp. Sesame Oil
- 4 Ozs. Sliced Water-Chestnuts, Minced
- 1/4 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1/4 Tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
- 1/4 Tsp. Ground Ginger
- 4 Each Hamburger Buns
Directions
Prepare Asian Slaw: (4 Hours In Advance)

In medium bowl combine coleslaw mix, water-chestnuts and vinaigrette. Toss to combine and refrigerate for 4 hours.
Prepare Burgers:

Heat gas or charcoal grill to medium-high.

In another medium bowl, mix remaining ingredients except buns. Shape mixture into 4 patties; about 3/4-inch thick.

Carefully brush oil on grill rack. Place patties on grill over medium heat. Cover grill; cook 10 to 14 minutes, turning once, until thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 165°F. During last 2 minutes of grilling, place buns, cut sides down, on grill.

Place burgers on bun bottoms. Using slotted spoon, top each burger with about 1/3 cup coleslaw mixture. Cover with bun tops.
Cook's Tip:

Lightly butter hamburger buns and toast lightly on grill for added flavor.
