Ingredients
- 1 c. Brown Sugar, Packed
- 1/2 c. Shortening, Butter Flavored
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 x Egg
- 1/2 c. Applesauce
- 2 c. Gold Medal Flour
- 2 c. Granola
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt

Applesauce Granola Cookies

Directions
- Heat oven to 375*F. Mix brown sugar, shortening, vanilla and egg in large bowl. Stir in applesauce. Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 11 to 13 min or possibly till almost no indentation remains when touched in the center. Cold slightly, remove from cookie sheet. Cold completely on wire rack.
- About 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
