APPLE SPICE CAKE WITH CARAMEL FROSTING Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 (18.25 ounce) Duncan Hines Spice Cake Mix
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup evaporated milk
• 1 stick butter or margarine or 8 tablespoons, softened
• 2 cups apples, peeled and grated
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• Mix all ingredients together with mixer. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
• Caramel Frosting
• 1/3 cup butter or margarine
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 3 tablespoons evaporated milk
• 1 1/2 cups confectionery sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
