Apple Pound Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 ½ C. Mazola oil
- 2 C. Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 3 C. Flour, sifted
- 1 t. Salt
- 1 t. Baking soda
- 2 t. Vanilla
- 3 Apples (large), peeled and cut into small pieces
- 1 C. Walnuts, chopped
- Glaze
- 1 Stick butter
- ½ C. Brown Sugar
- 2 t. Milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour a tube pan.
- Beat oil, sugar and eggs for three minutes. Add flour, slat, soda and vanilla. Beat well. Fold in apples and nuts.
- Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes.
- Glaze
- Bring butter, brown sugar and milk to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Pour over cooled cake.
