Apple Harvest Blondies / Wisatefair2001 Recipe

Ingredients
- 2/3 c. butter
- 2 1/4 c. brown sugar divided
- 3 whl Large eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 med /large paula red apples peeled, cored & minced
- 1 x 3 ounces block cream cheese
- 2 ounce pecans minced
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Place cream cheese in freezer for one hour. Preheat oven to 350 . Heat butter in a large saucepan. Remove from burner and stir in 2 c. brown sugar and stir thoroughly. Add in the Large eggs, flour, baking pwdr, salt, and vanilla and stir till well blended. Mix in minced apple and place the mix in an ungreased 9" x 13" baking pan. Chop the cream cheese into small pcs (much easier when has been frzn and mix with the remaining 1/4 c. brown sugar, pecans, and cinnamon. sprinkle mix on the batter and bake for 35 min. Serve hot or possibly at room temperature. Chill leftovers.
