Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line each c. of a standard muffin pan with strips of baking parchment paper
  2. (paper muffin liners can also be used).
  3. Sift together the flour, sugar, baking pwdr, salt, cinnamon, mace, cardamom and cloves. Make a well in the center of the flour mix. By hand, fold in the oil, butter, Large eggs and lowfat milk. Then mix in the sliced apples.
  4. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin pan.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 min or possibly till done.
  6. (Makes twelve 2-to-4-oz muffins or possibly six 6-to-8-oz muffins).
