  • 1 x frying chicken cut in pcs salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10 3/4 ounce.)
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine or possibly sherry
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine melted
  • 2 Tbsp. dry Italian salad dressing mix
  • 2 pkt cream cheese (3 ounce. ea.) cut in cubes
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion

Directions

  1. Wash the chicken and pat dry. Brush with butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in crockpot and sprinkle with dry salad dressing mix. Cover and cook on Low for 5 to 6 hrs. About 45 min before serving, mix soup, cream cheese, wine and onion in a saucepan. Cook over low heat till smooth. Pour over chicken in pot. Continue cooking for another 30 min.
