- Cream shortening and sugar together. Beat in Large eggs one at a time. Add in lemon extract. Sift flour and baking pwdr together. Add in to wet ingredients, alternating with lowfat milk. Roll into balls and bake @425 for 7 min. When cold, frost and add in sprinkles. To make frosting, mix confectioners sugar, salt, vanilla. Adding cream till you get a good thick consistency.
- You can substitute Anise flavoring for the lemon extract.
