Angel Food Cake With Chocolate Whipped Cream Icing

Ingredients

  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa pwdr
  • 1/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 pch cream of tartar
  • 2 c. chilled whipping cream
  • 1 x prepared angel food cake

Angel Food Cake With Chocolate Whipped Cream Icing

Servings: 1
 

Directions

  1. Whisk powdered sugar, cocoa pwdr, lowfat milk and cream of tartar in large bowl
  2. till smooth. Cover and chill till well chilled, about 1 hour.
  3. (Can be prepared 4 hrs ahead.)
  4. Using electric mixer, gradually beat cream into chocolate mix.
  5. Continue beating till stiff peaks form. Place cake on platter. Spread top and sides of cake with icing. Slice into wedges and serve.
  6. Makes about 5 c..
