Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. Unsalted butter
  • 2 ounce Unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/4 c. Unsweetened cocoa pwdr
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 2/3 c. Whipping cream
  • 1 pch Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. Raisins, coarsely minced
  • 1/4 c. Minced or possibly slivered almonds, toasted

Directions

  1. In a heavy small saucepan, heat butter and chocolate over low heat. Stir in cocoa, sugar, cream, and salt. Bring slowly to a boil. Remove from heat and add in vanilla, raisins, and almonds. Serve hot or possibly at room temperature.
  2. Makes about 1-1/2 c..
