Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (or 2 sticks) Melted
  • 1 - 1 1/2 cup heavy cream( or use half and half and eliminate milk)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 5 cloves of crushed garlic
  • 1/4 cup parsley
  • 1 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 ( 11 oz.) Condensed Mushroom Soup

Alfredo Sauce

Time: 20 minutes prep, 30 minutes cook
Servings: 4-6
 

Directions

  1. 1. Melt butter over low heat
  2. 2. Add the cream, milk, garlic and parsley. Simmer for about 5 minutes . Stir often to avoid sticking
  3. 3. Slowly add cheese
  4. 4. Add Mushroom soup; continually stir
  5. 5. Let simmer until hot: add water if too thick. Do not boil
  6. 6. Set aside and use. It also can be frozen and used at a later date
